Champions of Faith: Baseball Edition

"My congratulations to all involved in this creative evangelization tool !
I believe this will be a powerful tool for the youth to grow in their appreciation
of the faith as well as the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
I was very impressed with the testimony of Jack McKeon and the other athletes."

- Fr. Kevin Lixey, LC Vatican Sports Office

"It is with great pleasure that I send you my heartiest congratulations on your movie
CHAMPIONS OF FAITH. You've done a superb job; it was a great cinematic triumph and a splendid performance. I was so impressed in the way the movie intersects faith and sports. This movie is going to be a useful evangelization tool for many years to come especially for young people. The movie was saturated with the splendor of truth and uncompromisingly Catholic and the quality of this film was second to none. The Catholic baseball players profiled here are  athletes of sport and athletes of faith and they give glory to God for their accomplishments on and off the field. These baseball players are living out their baptismal and confirmation promises by: assuming "the role of disciple and witness to Christ, both within the ecclesial community and in temporal affairs" (C.C.C. 1319). This movie truly exceeded all my expectations; I just sat their in awe and praising God. I am sure the Lord is looking down upon you in light of this film and saying "well done, well done." My hat's off to you and my prayers go with you.
This movie is a must see for every Catholic male. It will make you proud 2 B Catholic."

- Jesse Romero, Retired Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff - Former USA Middleweight Kickboxing Champion

“Champions of Faith is a splendid documentary. It is deeply moving to see these baseball players, including future Hall of Famers, All-Stars, players and managers, demonstrate how their professional success has been accompanied by a deep love of their Catholic faith, a faith that they strive to live out everyday. This film is a powerful instrument of evangelization, and it is my hope that it will reach many people with its inspiring message.”

The Shepherds' Prayer

"This imaginative Christmas novel by Richard M. Barry tells the story of an adopted son with a mysterious connection to the Messiah, who seeks the truth about his birth thirty years later. The Shepherds' Prayer is a story that reminds us of two things. First, we remember that the humble will be lifted up and confound the wisdom of the wise. Secondly, Barry's novel reminds us of perhaps how we often react to the difficult and painful circumstances in our lives."

Chuck Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship Ministry

“Richard Barry's novel, ‘The Shepherds' Prayer', is a Christmas treasure! Reading ‘The Shepherds' Prayer', I imagined how the shepherds must have felt on that blessed night of Christ's birth more than 2,000 years ago; so afraid when the angel of the Lord appeared to them with the news of the Savior's birth, yet trusting completely in the word of God. ‘The Shepherds' Prayer' tells the tale of one man's search for the truth of who he is, where he came from, and how he fits into God's story. Anam's search is our search – when we seek the truth, we always find Christ!”

-- Jeff Cavins, author and creator of The Great Adventure, The Bible Timeline

“Richard Barry's fictitious story of Anam's journey in 'The Shepherd's Prayer' drew me to the cradle of Our Lord like no other story before. It allowed my imagination to experience what an extraordinary grace the nativity was for those who witnessed it and for those who would come to know Christ for the next two thousand years. A must-read for all ages, 'The Shepherd's Prayer is a classic tale that will transport its readers to the very moment when the Word is made Flesh.”

God's Greatest Gift

“God’ Greatest Gift” affirms God’s great love for His creation, but in particular, His love for individual people. In all of His creation, humans are the only ones created in His image. Deb Burch’s book clearly states that each life is a gift from God!

Joann Bogard - Middle School Teacher

Concerning the book “God’s Greatest Gift”, the author and her family. I have spent time in the Burch home visiting and talking about the book/books in the early stages and one thing that I remember so well is the genuine since of heart felt love that Deb and Dan have for children. It won’t take but a few minutes with Deb to know that her motivation for this project is to bring a positive message to the children. I consider it an honor to call them and their family friends.

Darrell & Ramona Roberts, Business owners

"When the Burch's came to speak to our residential youth about seeing themselves as God sees them, our kids were captivated by the message. In reading God's Greatest Gift out loud, the youngest of the abused or neglected, and the teens, many hardened delinquents, found comfort in their true and simple message presented so clearly and brightly on those pages."

Love & Fertility

"Science reveals to us that the natural regulation of births is not only possible but fully effective. Any woman can recognize the signs of her fertility by learning what to look for. This awareness of fertility is the basis for the true freedom of love."
